My Therapy

In Person & Teletherapy

Sarah offers in person and teletherapy counseling for individuals, couples, and families. Online sessions provide a secure and convenient way to access therapy from the comfort of your home.

Couples and Family Counseling

Sarah offers couples, marital, premarital, family, and parent-child relational counseling using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an attachment-based and evidence-based model designed to strengthen emotional safety and connection.

EFT has one of the highest success rates of any couples therapy model and helps couples move from cycles of conflict, distance, and disconnection toward greater security, responsiveness, and emotional closeness.

Trauma & PTSD

Painful and traumatic experiences can leave people feeling overwhelmed, emotionally unsafe, disconnected, anxious, angry, or stuck long after the events themselves have passed.

Using EMDR and Story Informed Trauma Therapy, Sarah helps clients process traumatic experiences, strengthen emotional resilience, and move toward greater healing, safety, and connection.

Grief and Loss

Grief is often exhausting, disorienting, and deeply lonely. Using attachment-based and client-centered approaches, Sarah walks with clients through the many layers of loss and the difficult process of adjusting to life after profound change.

When desired by the client, therapy may also include the integration of spiritual faith, including Christian perspectives surrounding grief, suffering, meaning, and hope.

Infidelity and Betrayal Recovery

Using Emotionally Focused Therapy alongside specialized training in affair recovery and sex addiction therapy, Sarah helps couples process the pain, confusion, grief, and disconnection that often follow relational betrayal.

Healing after betrayal requires emotional safety, honesty, structure, and support. Depending on the needs of the couple, Sarah may also recommend additional individual or group support resources within the Baton Rouge community.

Depression & Anxiety

Anxiety, depression, overwhelm, and emotional exhaustion can deeply impact the way people experience themselves, their relationships, and daily life.

Therapy can help people better understand the emotional patterns underneath their distress while building greater resilience, self-understanding, emotional safety, and connection.

Here for you.
