Sarah is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Counseling. Through more than ten years of experience, she believes our greatest source of healing comes from the strength of our relationships. When relationships break down, families are more susceptible to emotional and physical dysfunction which can last for generations. But when our relationships are healthy, they insulate us from trauma and promote healing. We simply cannot navigate through the difficulties of life until we have a deep sense that we are truly seen, known and valued.
Sarah's counseling style is warm and personable. Earnest and compassionate, she meets her clients wherever they may find themselves with an open empathy partnering with them on their journey towards health and healing.
Sarah specializes in using Emotionally Focused Therapy, the gold standard of the American Psychological Association, to facilitate healing with couples, individuals, and child-parent relationships.
A lifelong resident of Denham Springs, Louisiana, Sarah and her husband, John, have five children (July 2021 baby girl not pictured) plus a lovely daughter-in-law and serve at Grace Covenant Church.
