There's much to see here. So, take your time and look around. These are resources I recommend for different clients to deepen their work outside of session.
A collection of books, workbooks, podcasts and workshops to help people build healthy relationships
A book for couples navigating seven conversations vital to a healthy relationship. This is Emotionally Focused Couple's Therapy in a book format. For couples who have stuck relationship patterns, this book will not be sufficient to shift those patterns.
A wonderful book filled with the science of love and attachment. This is my favorite Sue Johnson book (founder of Emotionally Focused Therapy).
A book as well as a card deck system to help couples mindfully navigate the mental load and life to do lists paving the way for more connection, partnership, and less resentment.
A book and also the name of workshops for couples. This book and workshop are overtly Christian in nature incorporating the principles of EFT alongside scripture found in the Bible. Here is a link to Baton Rouge workshops offered by an EFT Certified Therapist
A workbook for identifying attachment styles and moving from insecure to secure connections. Eli Harwood also has wonderful content on her social media profiles.

Book and workbooks for empowering parents to building healthy and secure relationships with their children
An attachment-based book for helping parents foster a secure attachment in their children which, in turn, increases a child's emotional resiliency and ability to explore.
This is an excellent resource for parents struggling to having connected and productive conversations with their adolescent children. This is a guidebook for crafting and navigating important conversations from start to finish.
A beautiful book challenging the prevailing belief that peer relationships supersede parents' as a sign of maturation. I recommend this book for any parent - especially those with children entering adolescence.

Books and workbooks for guiding personal growth and healing
Overtly Christian. This is a vulnerable and powerful book about the role of emotions through the lens of scripture and informed by neuroscience. It combats the myths that emotions primarily lead you astray, they are not spiritual and that God is not emotional. I especially love the tips on how to recognize emotions and what to do with them.
Overtly Christian. This exists as both a book and a workbook. It is a wonderful introduction into how to do your own story work (getting curious and informed about why you are the way that you are) as well as how to begin your healing journey.
